:D Hey Hey Everybody! Just thought I'd drop a line before I went to bed. I jsut got back from my traditional Christmas trip to visit my mothers side of the family. They're all so great I got to see little cousins I haven't seen in years and got to take all the little rugrats toa movie on top of it all. Overall it was an excellent trip and I think I might be ready for work tommorrow morning. Well I should be getting back to school arounf January 11th so expect maybe one more blog between now and then and I'm still working on talking to that old friend and might have a nice long blog about that too. :D Home for the Holidays! College is over for this semester and I drove 7 hours and then sat through a particularlly good 3 and a half hour movie for the second time in as many days to get home. What a feeling to be home. I should've gone to work today but I slept in and since my bosss doesn't care if I skip work as long as I haven't started working yet for the break I could take off monday too, but I think I'll be rested by then. Grades are in sort of. I'm still missing the one critical class that in effect decides whether or not I get to keep my scholarship for next semester. So its mildly upsetting that I have grades in the classes that I toiok finals in on thursday, but no grade in the class whose final I took last friday. Well I know it has to be today because its university policy all grades must be turned in by the friday after the last day of finals. So I should know tonight or tommorrow. Well theres not much to tell really I got home safely, my car is repaired after a fashion and hopefully I'll get to play some computer games today, after I clean the room I'll be staying in and finish unpacking my car(which by the way I also washed for the first time all year). Some people are saying why don't you wash your car more often. The answer is "It's Lubbock" washing your car is as effective as putting a little hat on the snowball you put in hell. It delays the inevitable for about 3 seconds. Lubbock has high winds and is surrounded by plowed fields most of the year, not much chance of a clean car for more than 2-3 hours so its jsut not worth it. Well anyways I'm rambling so I'm gonna sign off and shower and clean up and get ready for a great day at home. God Bless all have a safe and happy holiday! :( My computer died again. This time it will take Jesus to bring it back. This thing is deader than the nails on well someone's coffin. Yeah it s a hard drive read error and not even a Linux STD pack could access it which means the only option to recover the data is a data recovery place which could run anywhere from 700 to 3000 dollars or more. So I need to accept the fact that my music is gone forever and get started rebuilding a system thats stable and start gathering music again. Sorry for the long wait for updates. Finals have hit and I'm in full finals swing studying half the time goofing off the other half. In case some of you say "How is that different". Most of the time I study less than twenty-five percent of the time and goof off the rest. So I'm in full gear for studying and also trying to get out of this crazy town alive. Well I gtg its time for bed so I can get to the volkswagen dealership early tommorrow and hopefully get my car fixed. :D Great week so far. After a miserable sunday morning which I spent asleep witha very upset stomach I had a great last few days. Monday while I forgot about Small Group which sucks(missing SG, not SG) went okay and today was simply awewsome. I went to my two profs and talked. My thermo grade was a 24 not because of my horrible grades but because the computer had errored and given me all zeroes and the professor was VERY nice and gave me the average of my test grades as my homework grade which raises my average easily back to a solid B. Then I went and turned in my desperation extra credit lab and was told to redo the one lab I really screwed up on and I jsut might get my A...ROCK! Then I went and saw Haunted Mansion and stopped by Fazolis on the way back and then came home and did the lab report. AND Tommorrow is the last day of classes this semester ROCK ON!! Ooh Ooh!! I also got a new game and the Texas Tech fight song for my cell phone(my only phone). So tommorrow should rock too I turn in the lab and I have my scholarship in the bag really...which is awesome because for the last two weeks I thought I was gonna lose it. I know thats confusing and random but I'm excited and tired. :oops: I know I promised to have a relavent and important blog posted, but I appear here today to beg for forgiveness and more time. It turns out that this email is turning out to be much harder to write than I thought. The more I think about it the less I seem sure of exactly what I want to say. Because of the content and what I do know for sure that I do want to say I ahve to word it perectly and I also have to word it very carefully as well. So I will give you some more excuses now....I've been sick with a persistent cough for the past two weeks and because of the infection I've not been able to take my chemo shots for three weeks and now the arthritis that was in remission is starting up again since I've been off the medicine for so long and I've also been extrememly busy the last few days. So for the fact of general busyness, two different kinds of sick and a tough emotion charged letter to write I plead for more time and to keep my kneecaps intact. Hey still busy with post holiday stuff, but I've got a big thing that I've felt that I needed to handle recently and so if I don't chicken out I'll post the email once I've written it....it should be a pretty big deal....also I'll give you all an update on the last few weeks as far as everything else goes.
